University in Attack —— A destroyed auditorium and a university student

I met a university student at a local NGO office, which supports the refugees. She studied in Syiah Kuala University located in the capital, Banda Acheh. “Our university also met the consequences of a burndown.”

She guided me to a huge auditorium in the university, which had been reduced to a mountain of debris. It was said that an unidentified person destroyed it overnight.

“This auditorium was funded by the student’s families. It’ll be impossible to rebuilt it again like it as before.” She said. There were stray dogs fighting over their territory by a pile of rusty desks and chairs.
