The remains of great and charismatic Abdullah Syafei (L), 54, his wife Fatimah alias Aisyah (R) were taken to their house after verification of identities by his brother Zakaria at Sigli hospital on 24 January 2002. Abdullah Syafei was the Free Acheh Movement (GAM)' s War Commander who was killed by Indonesian troops on 22 January. GAM has accused Indonesian military of treachery over Syafii's killing.
