HE MASSACRE OCCURRED after police  raided the building of the secondary school (SMUN) in Calang, West Acheh, while students were busy being finger-printed before collecting their graduation certificates. According to an AFP report, the victims were taken to police headquarters after a policeman had been killed outside the school in a firefight with
rebel forces.
